Privacy policy
This policy explains how Marketing OS collects and uses information when authorised users plan, publish and measure social content.
Who is responsible
Marketing OS is operated by Felix Doerp. Questions about privacy or data requests can be sent to felix@doerpmund.de.
Information we process
- Account information such as name, email address and workspace membership.
- Authorised social account identifiers, access tokens and refresh tokens.
- Content supplied or created in the service, including text, images and videos.
- Publishing choices such as destination account, privacy, timing and interaction settings.
- Delivery status and performance information returned by connected providers.
- Technical logs needed to protect, diagnose and operate the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, connect accounts with permission, prepare content previews, publish approved content, display delivery and performance information, prevent abuse and improve the service.
Social provider access
Social accounts connect through the provider's official authorisation flow. Marketing OS does not receive the user's social account password. Provider tokens are used only to perform actions requested through the connected workspace and can be revoked by disconnecting the account or through the provider's own settings.
Legal basis
Where European data protection law applies, processing is based on providing the requested service, the user's consent for connected accounts, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations where required.
Service providers
We use infrastructure, database, hosting, email, analytics, media generation and social publishing providers as processors where needed to operate the product. Information is shared only for the relevant service purpose or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Information is retained only while needed to provide the service, resolve operational issues and meet legal requirements. We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted server credentials to protect stored information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Account disconnection and deletion
Users can disconnect a social account from the workspace. To request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information, email felix@doerpmund.de from the address associated with the account. We may retain limited records where law or security obligations require it.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the user's country. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The latest version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
